Football is the world's number one pastime, played and enjoyed by more people around the world than any other sport. And China is passionate about football, too.

Qi Lin Football Club was founded to help strengthen the foundation for youth football in Shanghai. Teams in different age groups (from 8 years up) have been established. Training 3 times a week and matches every weekend promise to build skills and endurance, and give the kids (and their parents) plenty of fun and excitement!

Qi Lin Football Club has members from over a dozen countries, and will compete with football clubs around Shanghai.

Healthy, active lifestyles are best established early in life, and what better way than participate in the most international football club one can imagine.

Element Fresh and HSBC are the main sponsors of the club, and the team of the 8-10 year-olds is officially known as Team Element Fresh! We are providing all equipment including clothing and even the balls to Qi Lin Football Club. There will also be events throughout the year to celebrate the wins and bear the "almost-wins" together!
