Synopsis: He/she manages all aspects of ongoing restaurant operations, with relentless drive for quality, service, accuracy, and cleanliness. Also he assists department supervisors in daily management and is responsible for the recruitment, training and turnover control inside the department.The

Responsibilities:

Support in all areas of restaurant operations to the team.

Conduct weekly meeting to all staffs (except off-duty ones), share staffs' feedback about recent events and set the target and priorities for the following week.

Arrange monthly communication with staffs within the department and report to restaurant GM.

Attend weekly managers meeting and share thoughts.

Assist facility manager to ensure timely maintenance and repair of facilities.
- Always represent Element Fresh in the proper manner when dealing with customers and the community at-large.
Retain Element Fresh's high quality standard for freshness, taste, and consistency. Check that recipes are followed accurately. Prepare daily 5 reports to ensure measures are being taken to improve weak points.
- Take responsibilities over food safety training in accordance with food safety manual.
- Have complete knowledge of all menu items, their garnish, contents and preparation methods. Be ready to answer any customer questions.
- Monitor training programs and ensure training standards. (According to company policy, dept. manager should sign off to give new employee permission to start work.) Provide on-the-job training/direction, communication additional training needs to senior management.
- Identity opportnities for quality/service improvements, cost savings, other operational enhancements.
- Monitor the ordering processes for each department, ensure they are controlling costs. To better control HR cost, make use of warning letter timely in daily operation.
- Keep constant watch on restaurant property to prevent loss and shrinkage.
- Provide resolutions to QSAC problems
- Observe reimbursement policies
- Ensure accurate daily closing, and cash management.
- As a member of the overall element fresh management team, support company initiatives beyong the call of daily duty.
- Each AM should complete delegated tasks and support GM in daily management.
- Delivery manager: conduct monthly survey about delivery service and report to Operations Director.
a, Technical skills:

Minimum five years of restaurant experience, at least three years of which in restaurant experience. Myst include management of kitchen and service operations.

Organization skills, including prioritizing of workload and task delegation.

Restaurant sanitation and cleanliness.

Food safety and hygiene.

Inventory management for perishable products.

Understanding of customer satisfaction drivers.

Team leadership: track record in managing team performance, employee assessment with appropriate action taken.

Note: Element Fresh is open for business seven days a week and a minimum of 16 hours per day. All emplyees must realize this fact and be aware that at all times it may be necessary to move employees from their scheduled shift as business demands. In addition, this is a hospitality business and a hospitality service atmosphere must be projected at all times.
